Description

With different tax rates for individuals and trusts, tax planning takes on more importance. New legislation increases the importance of generating new ideas for financial planning and saving for retirement. The purpose of this course is to explore practical tax-planning ideas that practitioners can use to assist clients with their needs. This course is crucial for CPAs who are looking for good ideas that can save clients money! Continually updated for legislative developments.

Harris "Trip" H. Barnes, III, J.D. is Managing Partner at Barnes Law Firm, P.A. with offices located in Jackson, Oxford, Gulfport, and Southaven. He received his B.A. from Mississippi State University and Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He received his Masters of Law Degree in Taxation from the University of Florida. Throughout his career, Trip has been active in professional and community organizations such as Kiwanis Club, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts of America, Mississippi State University Alumni Association, Harrison County Bar Association, and The Mississippi Bar. He has also conducted seminars for the American Institute of CPAs, Mississippi Society of CPAs, and other professional organizations.
