Everyone knows that Excel is the most widely used spreadsheet application in the world today. However, because it is ever-changing, many users are unable to keep up with the latest features and capabilities of this ubiquitous application. In this session, we look at some of the most helpful new features and tools that have been added to both the Desktop version of Excel and the Web version. Content like this is valuable to anyone that regularly works with Excel - We hope you will attend!

Learning Objectives:

Once participants have completed this session, they should be able to:

List helpful new features that will help users work more efficiently, and

identify how new functions in the Excel Function Library can be beneficial.

Course Highlights: This session is taught using a Hands-On methodology. We provide practice files that tie to the examples in the course materials so participants can undertake all the steps in unison with the instructor for a greatly improved learning experience. The Excel topics discussed in this session include:

Updates to the Excel Function Library.

Leaders

Karl W. Egnatoff

Karl Egnatoff is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) currently living in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During the past 28 years Mr. Egnatoff has worked as a consultant, trainer, and as a software engineer while engaged on projects for business organization of all types. Prior to this, Karl worked in public accounting as well as in private sector accounting. Since 2009, Karl has worked presenting and creating material in association with numerous continuing educations organizations. In addition to being a CPA, he is also a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). Mr. Egnatoff is a member of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Information Technology Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also achieved a number of technology certifications. Karl graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During his time in college, he participated in division I Cross County competing on the varsity squad. He was also on Marshall's Track team. During the course of his career, Mr. Egnatoff has owned and operated a number of successful businesses. All of these provided services to other organizations in the business community. The experience he garnered while serving these organizations helps him now as he writes and presents continuing professional education through Phoenix Beach. Mr. Egnatoff is a member of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Information Technology Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also achieved a number of technology certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Certified Software Engineer (CSE) and Certified Integration Developer (CID). Karl and his wife Lana have been married for twenty-seven years. They have two grown sons, Jordan and Steven.
