Wilkins M. Crawford

Wilkins M. Crawford Jr., CPA Partner^ Wil has more than 16 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to telecommunications, governmental, nonprofit, higher education, and commercial clients. Wil also serves as the nonprofit and governmental industry leader for FORVIS's Jackson, Mississippi, office. Wil is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University, Starkville, with a B.S. degree in accounting and an M.Acc. degree. Wil is a member of the AICPA and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He is currently the treasurer of the board of the MSCPA. He was awarded the Silas M. Simmons Bronze Medal for the 2007 CPA Exam. He also has served as president of the MSCPA Young CPAs, chair of the MSCPA Governmental A&A Committee, millennial chair of the MSCPA Long Range Planning Committee, an MSCPA board member, and was the 2015 winner of the MSCPA Rising Star Award. He is a member of the Association of Government Accountants and was previously a reviewer for the United States and Canada's Government Finance Officers Association's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program. Wil is a member of Madison United Methodist Church where he serves as the chair of the administrative council and is a former finance committee member. He is currently a member of the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area. He resides in Madison with his wife Melanie and their two amazing kids.

Cecil (Bill) M. Felder

Cecil (Bill) M. Felder

Bill Felder, CPA, CISA, is a native of Long Beach, Mississippi, and received his Bachelors and Masters of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State. He is a director in the auditing and consulting department of Harper, Rains, Knight & Company, P.A. where he is in charge of audit engagements to a variety of industries including government-assisted multi-family housing projects, hospitals, Federal government entities, employee benefit plans, workers' compensation, financial services, medical services, wholesale supply, churches and non-profit organizations. Bill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Central Mississippi Chapter of Certified Public Accountants where he served as a past-secretary. Bill has earned the designation of Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and is a discussion leader for continuing professional education courses sponsored by the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Stacey Gaines

Stacey Gaines

Stacey serves as the Director of Marketing & Communication for HORNE. She leads HORNE's external branding, messaging, advertising and digital strategy initiatives. In addition, Stacey helps HORNE's clients achieve growth by providing creative, strategic marketing solutions. Stacey joined the firm in 2016 and has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and graphic design. Prior to HORNE, she served as brand manager and creative director for the Mississippi Development Authority where she oversaw their brand and digital media strategy. Her experience includes marketing strategy, integrated advertising campaigns across emerging channels, TV, print, digital and social as well leading re-branding and design efforts for businesses. Stacey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Auburn University.

Charles R. Lindsay

Charles R. Lindsay

Charles Lindsay, CPA is a Shareholder at the Ridgeland-based accounting firm of Matthews, Cutrer & Lindsay, where he directs the Nonprofit practice area which serves more Nonprofits than any other Mississippi firm. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and has now provided tax and audit services to individuals, small businesses, and Nonprofits for more than 35 years. Charles devotes countless hours and expertise promoting and enhancing Mississippi's charities. The Mississippi Society of CPA's Not-For Profit committee (2001) is the result of his initial conceptualization. Charles also represents the CPA community as a frequent speaker on nonprofit accounting, management and governance issues. In 2013, he was named one of the Mississippi Business Journal's "Leaders in Finance". In 2019, he was honored with MSCPA's Public Service Award.

Gina Nelson is the Internal Audit Manager for MS Home Corporation. She joined MHC in 2016. Prior to joining MHC, Mrs. Nelson was an Audit Manager for over 12 years with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, a regional CPA firm. She specialized in auditing nonprofit, governmental and employee benefit plans as well as supporting organizations in implementing financial and internal control best practices. Mrs. Nelson received her Master of Professional Accountancy and Bachelor of Science from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Allison B. Rooker

Allison B. Rooker

Allison Rooker is the Director of Financial Planning and Analytics for Canopy Children's Solutions. In this role, Allison is responsible for monitoring the business activities and operations of the organization that includes preparing and examining budget estimates, performing advanced accounting functions in the management of Canopy's business affairs, providing support to leadership and program supervisors with financial planning, forecasting and budget management. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, she began her career at KPMG LLP in Jackson. Her career led her to the West Coast but ultimately she returned to her home state of Mississippi where she has spent the past 17 years. Allison joined the Canopy team following more than a decade of service in not-for-profit private higher education as the Controller for both Millsaps College and Mississippi College. A native of Jackson and alumna of the University of Southern Mississippi, Allison is a resident of Brandon where she lives with her husband Derek and their two children, Bennett and Collins. They are active in their children's various sports activities and are members of Pinelake Church. Allison is an active member of the Junior League of Jackson. She served as Finance Chair for the 2022 Touch A Truck and is currently serving as the Finance Data Entry Chair for Mistletoe Marketplace.

Cerone F. Sturdivant

Cerone F. Sturdivant

Cy has more than 17 years of experience working with and serving clients across various industries. He primarily focuses on performing IT general control engagements, Cybersecurity assessments, Internal Audit SOX engagements and manages various other cybersecurity-related services for clients across the Firm. Before joining Forvis, he worked for a community bank in their risk management division and other accounting firms specializing in Information Security related internal audits and IT Control Assessments. Cy has been a practicing Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2009. His professional memberships include ISACA®, Tennessee Bankers Association Strategic Technology Steering Committee and InfraGard Middle Tennessee Members Alliance. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Martin, with a B.S. degree in business administration with accounting and finance emphases, and a graduate of University of Memphis, Tennessee, with an M.B.A. degree.

Angela Sumrall

Angela Sumrall

Angie brings more than 30 years of accounting experience to Canopy's executive leadership. Angie's primary role is to uphold the fiscal integrity of the company by overseeing financial matters including federal, state and local grants management; budgeting; financial reporting; tax and audit functions; capital campaign fiscal management and planning; financial compliance management; forecasting and special projects. In addition to finance, she also oversees the direction of Canopy's Facilities, Training, Admissions and Human Resources departments. Angie joined Canopy in 1999. Before that, she ran the Small Business Division for a Jackson-area CPA firm. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College with emphasis in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Debbie Walker is the CFO for MS Home Corporation. She joined MHC in 2015. Prior to joining MHC, Mrs. Walker was the Director of Business Management for L-3 Vertex Aerospace, a government contractor supporting pilot training of military personnel and supplying aircraft maintenance. Additionally, she served in the capacity of CFO for both Navitas Wealth Advisors and Irby Investments, LLC., specializing in asset management for high net worth families. Mrs. Walker received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Tanya Webber

Tanya Webber

Tanya G. Webber is the Assistant Secretary of State for the Charities Division of the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office, a position that she has held under two different Secretaries of State (one Democrat and one Republican). In this capacity, she has the responsibility of regulating non-profit organizations for compliance with the Mississippi Charities Act by performing routing financial examinations, investigating complaints and nonprofit embezzlement cases, as well as other violations of the Act. The Division also works with federal and state prosecuting authorities to criminally punish violators of these charity laws. Prior to joining the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office in 2001, Tanya worked with the Mississippi Legislative PEER Committee and the Mississippi Department of Transportation. A proud graduate of Okolona High School, Tanya graduated Valedictorian of her class before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Jackson State University with a BBA in Accounting. Tanya then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law in 1998. Selected as one of Mississippi's 50 Leading Business Women in 2016, the Board of Trustees & Deacon Wives Council at Gt. Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Tanya takes serious her service to mankind and commitment to making the world a better place one day at a time.

Brian, a tax partner in Baker Tilly's Orange County, California office, specializes in non-profit organizations. Brian received his Bachelor of Science, finance and marketing, at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, Virginia) and his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law (Bloomington, Indiana). Brian has nearly 30 years of experience providing tax, legal and accounting services and solutions to all types of non-profit organizations, including public charities, private foundations, university auxiliaries, social clubs, business leagues, labor organizations, social welfare organizations, water districts, athletic organizations, social services entities, hospitals, bids, veterans organizations. Brian provides reasonable compensation studies, lobbying studies, governance consulting, public support test consulting, unrelated business income studies, special events consulting, state charitable solicitation registration services and insider transaction analyses. Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), American Bar Association (ABA) Exempt Organizations Committee, Board of Directors for the TE/GE EO Council, AICPA EO Tax Technical Resource Panel, and AICPA Non-profit Advisory Committee.
