Michael A. Frost
Mike Frost, CPA is an associate and shareholder of MDA Professional Group, P.C. and has been with the Albertville office since 1989. Currently a tax partner, Mike specializes in all areas of income tax and small business consulting. Mike is a specialist in the taxation of religious workers and religious organizations. He also is an avid public speaker and is available for speaking engagements and seminars. Mike graduated with "high honors and distinction" from Jacksonville State University with a major in accounting and a minor in finance and a 4.0 GPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Accountants Global Network, International. In addition, he is a graduate of the Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses Certificate of Educational Achievement Program sponsored by the AICPA. Mike is an ordained minister and has served in many churches on and around Sand Mountain. He is active in outreach and music ministry and works with alcohol and drug recovery groups in Marshall County, Alabama. Mike resides in Albertville, Alabama with his wife, Kay, and two children, Dylan and Sarah.
Kevin Kim
Kevin N. Kim is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics at Mississippi State University. He received his PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Ohio State University in 2021. His current research focuses on agricultural finance with emphasis on agricultural lending institutions, farm financial stress, and farm financial literacy. He also engages in various extension works that aim to enhance the financial literacy and resiliency of local farmers, as well as other stakeholders in South.
Brian Mills
Dr. Brian Mills is an Agricultural Economist at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, MS. Brian works primarily on farm management issues and determining the profitability of various crop production decisions, such as cover cropping, autonomous irrigation, and precision agriculture. Brian grew up on a farm in central Nebraska where they grow corn and soybeans and also have a cow-calf herd. Brian received his Bachelor's and Master's from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his PhD from Oklahoma State University before starting at Mississippi State University in 2019.
Ken Newburger
Ken Newburger is the Executive Director of 3MA. Ken previously served as the Campaign Manager and Director of Field Outreach for the Medical Marijuana 2020 Campaign which successfully supported the passage of Initiative 65 to create Mississippi's medical marijuana program. As Executive Director of 3MA, Ken is using his experience and personal connections from his days with the campaign to build an effective organization that represents the interests of the new medical marijuana industry in Mississippi. Ken is passionate about the efforts of 3MA because the success of the industry is vital for patients to obtain relief with medical marijuana products.
