Dudley Carter

DUDLEY CARTER is an Economist for Stifel, a fixed income broker/dealer serving institutional investors. Dudley writes daily commentary covering U.S. and foreign economic developments, as well as the U.S. and global financial markets. He also assists with the projection and publication of Vining Sparks' economic and interest rate forecasts and contributes to research articles for Vining Sparks. Dudley is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Tennessee and member of the Tennessee Society for Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Vining Sparks, Dudley was an audit manager at KPMG LLP, with a focus on the financial services sector. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics.

Lance Davis

Lance Davis

LANCE DAVIS, CPA is a member of BKD's Financial Services Group in Jackson and has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He currently serves on BKD's National Financial Services Committee and is BKD's South Region Financial Institutions Tax Leader. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry and has specifically focused on taxation and consulting services for financial institutions and bank holding companies. He currently oversees the income tax consulting and compliance for over 50 financial institutions and bank holding companies in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas ranging in asset size from $50 million to over $7 billion. Lance is a member of the AICPA and the MSCPA. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi chapter and is a former treasurer on the board of trustees of the Mississippi Nurses Foundation. Lance is a 1994 graduate of The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, with a B.S. degree in accounting.

Gordon Fellows

Gordon Fellows was appointed by the Mississippi Bankers Association (MBA) Board of Directors to become the president and CEO of the MBA January 1, 2020. Fellows has been with the MBA since 2012, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations. Since 2012, Fellows has lead association lobbying efforts with elected and appointed state and federal officials, developed strategy to achieve legislative priorities for the MBA and its membership, and developed relationships with bankers and industry leaders across the state and country. Additionally, Fellows has had a number of other non-legislative responsibilities including the development of the MBA's strategic plan. He currently serves on the faculty of the Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi. Fellows In his new role as President and CEO, Fellows will lead the day-to-day efforts of the MBA in supporting the banking industry of Mississippi, helping prepare bankers for the ever-changing industry landscape, and ensuring that the MBA provides excellent member value. Fellows is originally from Tupelo, Mississippi and is a graduate of Tupelo High School. He earned a B.A. in international studies at the Croft Institute at the University of Mississippi in 2006. He spent a semester abroad at the Beijing Foreign Studies University, after serving as the Associated Student Body President during his senior year. Fellows was later inducted into the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame.

Bradley Floore

Bradley Floore

Bradley is a manager at HORNE where he specializes in serving clients in the financial institutions industry. He has extensive experience performing and managing external audits for both SEC and privately-held institutions. He also performs Sarbanes-Oxley and FDICIA compliance testing. Additionally, he provides consulting and advisory insights to clients regarding asset-liability management practices and the application of new accounting standards. Bradley is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and received the Fred T. Neely Gold Medal for performance on the 2016 CPA exam. He was also recognized by the Mississippi Young Bankers Association as an Orrin Swayze Scholar.

Rhoshunda Kelly

Rhoshunda Kelly is the interim commissioner for the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance. She has more than 19 years of regulatory experience and began her career with the department as a bank examiner trainee. As a field examiner, Kelly served as examiner-in-charge and relationship manager of community banks. She served as the director of bank supervision, responsible for effective supervision and examination processes for all Mississippi state-chartered banks and credit unions. In 2014, Kelly was appointed deputy commissioner. In this capacity, she was responsible for the supervisory oversight of bank and non-bank activities (including mortgage and consumer finance industries), the implementation of new legislation/regulation, effective coordination of examination policies and practices between the state and federal regulators and the review of all merger, acquisition and de novo activity. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in banking and finance from Mississippi State University. She is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and an honor graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate Trust School. Kelly is a Certified Public Manager and a Certified Examinations Manager. Kelly is active in the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), serving on the CSBS board of directors, state supervisory processes committee, non-depository supervisory committee, finance, compensation and benefits committee, and the performance standards committee.

Jonathan M. Morgan

Jonathan M. Morgan

Mike Morgan is currently serving a Professor of Practice in the Department of Finance at the University of Southern Mississippi where is also serves as Director of The First Bancshares Center for Financial Services. Mike is a CPA. Prior to his time in academia, Mike held the role of Chief Financial Officer for several technology companies including American Healthtech and Bomgar Corporation, both in Ridgeland. Mike is also active in the Mentor Network at Innovate Mississippi where he mentors and advises technology start-ups. Mike and his wife Tracy are empty nesters residing in Clinton.

Chris Olsen

Chris Olsen

Christopher Olsen has been advising financial institutions for the entirety of his career having advised on more than 100 M&A transactions representing more than $10 billion in total value. Prior to founding Olsen Palmer, he managed a regional bank M&A advisory practice for Hovde Financial and then for Milestone Advisors. He has also worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley as well as for First Annapolis Consulting. He began his career in banking, first at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) then at a 3-branch community bank. Mr. Olsen holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University. He has also completed additional professional studies on M&A Law at Columbia Law School and on Banking through the American Bankers Association's Institute of Banking.
