Description

Are you ready to take your role as controller to the next level while adding significant value to the organization? A successful Controller will go beyond financial statements, internal controls and general accounting to create new value for the organization. We'll explore new additional roles that controllers are now accepting and outline a roadmap you can use to expand your role as a controller from simply internal process/transaction oriented to externally focused understanding of industry and macro trends.

John H. Cox, J.D. The Rome Group, Inc./Dallas/Fort Worth, TX John Cox is a successful entrepreneur and President/CEO of a nationally recognized consulting firm specializing in Lean Six Sigma Methodology value stream analysis, strategic planning, operational excellence best practices, project management, re-engineering, visioning and leadership development. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Dallas. Dr. Cox works mostly with Fortune 500 firms but is very active in civic and educational groups. He has authored three books and published many articles on various business related topics. He frequently appears on network radio and television discussing business and management issues and their future impact. Dr. Cox is a member of the Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club, The Deming Group, the American Marketing Association, Sales and Marketing Executives International, the Organizational Development Network, International Society of Six Sigma Professionals, International Society for Performance Improvement and the National Speakers Association.
